WHAT A SEASON!
Congratulations to all teams, another record breaking AA-League season!
In the eighth season of AA-League's top league - League One - We have had an eighth Grand Final champion: Workers United.
Founded in League Two in 2019, in the AAL's second season, the club has had two stints on the top flight and have won their first grand final against runaway favourites (and plate winners) Kamikaze Daydream Pilots.
In League Two, former League One champions Its a Kuol Kuol Summer have won the grand final and promotion back to the top level, while The Red Cards (also former winners) have grabbed the other promotion spot.
In the online leagues, Sharkies have won the top league in their first season at that level, after winning the double in Div 2 in their first season last year. Youngheart Manawatu have continued their solid record by grabbing the Premiers Plate but unfortunately losing the big one to Sharkies. Manawatu's record still looks impressive, with a lowest ever finish of fourth over five seasons.
Next season an even tougher Div 1 is expected, it will be interesting to see if they can sustain this success.

We will be removing teams who haven't been very active for 2026/27, so leagues are expected to be more competitive, and we also might see some teams promoted by two divisions.
